Centenary FC and Obie’s Quarter will battle for the title of the third edition of the Bole Unity Cup on Sunday, 6 September, at Government Primary School Bole.
The eagerly anticipated final will see both teams fight for the prestigious trophy and the FCFA 1 million first prize, while the runners-up will receive FCFA 500,000.
The third edition of the Bole Unity Cup is donated by Malle Kenneth, president of Summer Soccer Academy, as part of efforts to promote football, unity, talent development and community participation in Bole.
Several individual prizes are also up for grabs. The Best Player of the Competition will receive FCFA 50,000, while the Highest Goalscorer and Best Goalkeeper will each take home FCFA 25,000.
The tournament also featured a women’s category, with Hilltop Strikers emerging as champions. The winners received FCFA 200,000, while Centenary FC, who finished as runners-up, took home FCFA 100,000.
In the junior category, Centenary FC emerged champions and received FCFA 100,000, while Hilltop Strikers finished runners-up and were rewarded with FCFA 50,000.
With the women’s and junior competitions already decided, attention now turns to the main event on Sunday as Centenary FC and Obie’s Quarter go head-to-head for the Bole Unity Cup crown.
The final is expected to attract football lovers from across Bole, bringing the third edition of the Bole Unity Cup to a fitting conclusion while celebrating football, unity and community spirit.
