The tournament gives the ANAFOOT young trainees, the chance to be more competitive, while enabling coaches to assess their level and showcase their talents in playing top-level football.

Also, the competition will guide the young football stars towards a rational conception and organization that integrates the criteria of performance, civic -mindedness, citizenship and ethics in particular.

Elite clubs and other teams involved in local championships will have the opportunity to acquire the services of ANAFOOT players, as a committee of experts will be responsible for monitoring each match in order to compile a list of the best players.

These best players will be presented and drafted for the second time in Cameroon, at a ceremony scheduled to take place on 29 August 2024 at the Multipurpose Sports Complex in Yaounde.

Created in 2014 by a decree of the Head of State, one of ANAFOOT’s missions is to train young people in playing high-level football. Since March 2018, it has pursued the training of its more than two thousand young female and male trainees. The Centre, South-West and East have been the winners of this competition since its inception.
