The Cameroonian international formerly of Asante Kotoko of Ghana scored his first goal in the Egyptian premier for Al Masry.
In a game that saw Al Masry draw with Al Mokawloon by 2-2, Etouga scored his side’s first in the 42nd minute.
It was finally a moment of relief for the forward as he has been on the goal search for a long.
He rushed to his new coach Hosam Hassan and embraced him with a feeling of fulfillment of confidence that paid off.
Etouga was officially announced as a player of Al Masry from Asante Kotoko on 18th September 2022 a day which coincided with his 21st birthday. Three months later he has finally scored his first goal in the premier league and the count will be long taking on his previous exploits.
Cameroon has been playing more like a winger with the Egyptian side and not the Centre striker role in his days with Kotoko. He managed 21 goals in the league emerging as the club’s top scorer and runner-up for the golden boot.
