Bamboutos FC of Mbouda have suffered a massive setback ahead of their first game of the 2022/23 MTN Elite One championship play-offs following an injury to their key forward and lead scorer Kemajou Jnr Dibami.

The experienced forward who has scored 11 goals for the Mangwa Boys this campaign has failed to recover from an ankle injury suffered in training this week, thus leaving coach Yves Clement Arroga with the option of doing without him this weekend.

The intermediate Lions striker will miss their game against Canon Yaounde that kick-off in under an hour at the Bepanda Omnisport stadium.

Coach Arroga will be hoping to have the 27-year-old against Cotonsport and Gazelle FA next week in the decisive games of the tournament to decide the next winner of the Elite One championship.
