Elite 2: Katche Boris scores brace against Leopard to emerge top scorer

Katche Fon Boris of Rangers FC Bafut was on target twice against Leopard of Douala in the last day of play in the MTN Elite Two championship in Rangers FC’s 3#0 home win.

Katche Boris also provided an assist for the other goal scored by Tabufor Ernest.

His two goals against Leopard takes the striker’s tally of the season to 16 goals making him the highest goal scorer of Cameroon’s elite two football with 16 goals.

In this 2022/2023 football, the former Little Foot FC and EMMSA has also provided 5 assists. Thus he has made 21 goals contributions for Rangers FC Bafut.

Last football season, the 21-year-old who was on the radar of YOSA, emerged top scorer for Rangers FC with 5 goals scored.

Earlier in the season, Boris had set his target of the season at 20 goals.

However, he scored 16 goals and provided 5 assists.

As the season has ended and Rangers serving a suspension from the Cup of Cameroon, Boris will be weighing options from several elite One clubs in the country.
