Coton to announce new UNICEF deal

Cotonsport have agreed a new sponsorship deal with UNICEF until January 2026, kick442.com can report.

The current Coton board, headed up by Fernand Sadou, reached an agreement for the lucrative commercial agreement some weeks back but have picked this Monday as the day to bring it to the public.

Per club sources, UNICEF will support the different categories of the club by providing equipments and in execution of projects that enhance going concern of the 17-time champions.

Cotonsport joins Barcelona and a number of clubs around the world who benefit from charity funds from UNICEF to reach out to children in need across their sphere of influence.

The Cameroon and African football giants are tieing-up with the charity institution to boost their annual earnings and improve their purchasing power of the record champions of Cameroon and six time cup of Cameroon winners.

President Sadou and his administration will be present at the club’s headquarters in Garoua to seal the deal.

Cotonsport won a domestic double last season and reached the group stage of the CAF Champions League this season.

They are one of the reference clubs in Cameroon maybe explaining UNICEF has tight the relationship with the Cotonites.
