Choupo Moting sets Bundesliga record

Cameroon and Bayern Munich forward Jean-Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, has set a Bundesliga record of scoring against all the other teams currently taking part in the German’s top tier championship.

33-year-old Choupo, scored Bayern’s first goal in their 3-0 win over FC Union Berlin on Sunday, to take the Bavarian giants top of the table.

His 31st minute strike, was not only his ninth Bundesliga goal of the season, but also a significant mile stone for the Cameroonian forward, who has now scored against all 18 teams currently playing in the German top flight.

Prior to Sunday’s game, Choupo had netted against the 17 other teams, but has now included Union Berlin in his list of victims.

“Full house, Choupo has now scored against every current Bundesliga side 💥,” Bayern Munich wrote on their social media handles as celebrate their star forward.

The former Schalke 04 striker, has been in scintillating form for Bayern, where he has scored 15 goals in 24 matches in all competitions this season, providing a further four assists in that process.

Choupo average a goal in every 97 minutes for Bayern this season.

Previously, former Bayern forward Robert Lewandowski, had also achieved similar feed.
