Visiting Dynamo of Douala beat Canon Yaoundé 2-1 this Sunday at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Omnisport stadium in match day six of the 2023/24 MTN Elite One championship.
Goals from Joel and a late goal from Leonel Ateba Christian Mbida was all Yves Clement Arroga required to issue a sound response to their disappointing 2-1 defeat against Bamboutos FC two weeks ago.

Dynamo took the lead to the changing room at the break but failed to improve it upon resumption.

Ateba won it for the Douala boys in added time after dribbling past almost the entire Canon backline. The winner from the former Fortuna and PWD striker counts four goals in the MTN Elite One championship this season.
Canon will look to improve their sorry start to the 2023/24 season while Dynamo hosts Colombe in Douala.
The result puts Dynamo a point ahead of Bamboutos FC with 13 points, one better than chasing Bamboutos FC and co.
