Cameroon’s Yonis Njoh signs first professional contract

19-year-old Yonis Njoh, has signed his first professional contract with French division two side, Pau FC on a three-year contract.

The Franco-Cameroonian forward joins the Ligue 2 side from Orleans, where he has been since 2022 after leaving Toulouse where he was trained.

Yonis will however, stay with Pau FC’s reserve team for a while next season before he get integrated to the Senior team of the second division side, where he will experience his very first professional football.

Coming from the French Third-tier side, Yonis made 11 appearances this 2022/23 football and 36 competition matches played plus 11 goal scored since he joined Orleans during the 2021/22 season.

The lad is of French Nationality and was born in France, but also of Cameroon descent.

With this glearing opportunity, Yonis will get the chance to dream big and set a good career path with new club where his talent will be exploited as early as now.
