Kumba Lakers social football club of the Meme division, are champions of 2023 season of the U17 Cameroon youth football league.

Fellow region mates Dreams soccer Academy of Mamfe, competing in the U15 Category, did not finish on the podium but a Steeler performance from young Besong Junior is one spectators won’t forget in a hurry.
These achievements in the youth category, comes to cement the south-west region’s dominance in local competitions this 2023.
