Players and staff of Cameroon top-flight championship side Aigle Royal of Moungo have been involved in a car crash this Thursday, March 20 in Douala, leaving a number of injury cases.
kick442.com can exclusively reveal that four players who were occupying the back seat of their bonus picked up varied degree of injuries as after the team bus was hit from behind by a truck while they were on their way to training in Bikoko.
The incident which occurred in Carrefour Ndobo saw a heavy duty truck crash into Aigle’s 30-seater Coaster from behind and left the injured cases.
The coaster windscreen from behind and part of the boot area have been damaged by the accident.
The team’s medical crew led by Ndjangui Jacques intervened and offered the players’ first intervention before continuation of medical follow up.
Relegation-threatened Aigle Royal of Moungo are preparing for the resumption of the second phase of the season with a game against Stade Renard of Melong this Sunday in Douala.
