Isle of Hope Sports Academy (ISOHSA) of Limbe holding midfielder and captain Ngange Wilson Jnr has told his team mates to bury memories of their disappointing 0-1 defeat to Eding Sport de la Lekie and forge ahead.
In a conversation with the kick442.com team, Ngange congratulated Eding Sport and said they have flipped the page already.
“We played well on the day, but Eding won it and that’s football.Congratulations to them. We have to go back to the drawing board and fix a few things to be better next time,” Ngange explained.
Despite creating the best chances of the game, ISOHSA couldn’t still get that illusive goal against Eding Sport, making it four games without scoring against the 2017 Cameroon champions.
Despite the drought, Ngange says there is progress and that’s what they have to build on.
“Last season we lost here by 0-4 and lost at home by 0-2, so anyway this is analysed shows we are making progress and that’s more important than results of a single game. We remain in the top half of the table and will hold on to that till the end.”
Ngange, who skippered ISOHSA on the occasion of his 60th appearance for the club during the game against Eding Sport and counts two goals this season will be instrumental for the rest of the Royal Elephants’ season.
ISOHSA currently sit third on the log with 17 points and a game in hand ahead of a tricky trip to relegation threatened Djiko FC of Bandjoun at the CENAJES stadium this Saturday in what is one of their remain six games.
The South flag bearers in the MTN Elite Two championship need a minimum of six points from the remaining games to seal a slot in the promotion playoffs.
The top four clubs of each pool of the championship will participate in the promotion playoffs to determine the best two teams to ascend to the 14-club MTN Elite One championship next season.
