  • The appointment makes Bep the fourth Unisport of Bafang head coach this season
  • Joseph Kouahawa, Marcelin Ngahi and Rodrique Morocco have all been lead trainers of the club at some point in time this season
  • Bep Constantine has been appointed for the rest of the season

Roger Constantine Bep has returned to Unisport of Bafang following his latest appointment as head coach of the in replacement of Rodrique Morocco who is going nowhere.

In a bizarre pattern of events, Bep is expected to collaborate with coach Morocco who was initially taken out completely, before being recalled to join the crew.

According to club sources coach Bep who previously coached the club last season will be head of the technical crew alongside Morocco during the duration of the second segment of the season.

Coach Bep, also former coach of Aigle Royal of Menoua becomes the fourth trainer to lead the Unisport technical crew this campaign, after Joseph Kouahawa and Marcelin Ngahi, who are still on contract with the club.

The appointment sanctions the return of coach Bep in management barely months after his departure from the dugout of legendary PWD of Bamenda.

Bep is somewhat returning home as the former UMS of Loum and Stade Renard was coach of Unisport of Bafang at some point in time last season.

Unisport endured a difficult first half of the season with only two victories from seven games and eight points only good enough to leave them on the sixth spot in the classification table.

Sixth is certainly not where the Alain Monthe FECAFOOT wants the club to be as it amounts to a place in the relegation playoffs over their desired presence in the promotion playoffs.

The new coach is expected to hit the ground running from the start of the second segment of the season on Tuesday, December 5.

Unisport will open the second segment of the season with a West region derby fixture against Racing of Bafoussam.

The 2023/24 abridged MTN Elite Two championship is expected to climax in March during the relegation and promotion playoffs.

The top four clubs in each Pool will battle for the two ascension spots while the bottom clubs will give their all to avoid being among the trio condemned and sent to their respective regional championships.
