The Guinness Super League game pitting Authentic Ladies against Eclair of Sa’a has been moved from the Mbappe Leppe Stadium to the Japoma Annex Stadium next Tuesday.
The changed was announced by the office of the Secretary General of the Cameroon Women’s Football League Management body, Sidonie Tagne.
According announcement made on Wednesday, May 17, due to issues out of the control of the league management body led to the decision.
“The Secretary General of the Cameroon Women’s Football League (LFFC) informs concerned parties that the match day 18 fixture Authentic versus Eclair of the 2022/23 Guinness Super League season will be played on Tuesday May 23 at the Japoma Annex stadium due to unavailability of the Mbappe Leppe stadium,” the release read.
The Mbappe Leppe stadium has been host of some Guinness Super League games this season but sources say the managers of the structure want some time of inactivity on the pitch to reduce chances of damage due to overuse.
Authentic Ladies are currently ranked fourth in the championship but know a win will take them closer to Eclair who rather have their eyes on the top spot occupied by Lekie.
