AC Boulogne-Billancourt centre-back Alexandre Delarboulas has been called up by Ivory Coast’s U-20 national team for the upcoming 2017 Toulon Tournament.

The defender, who has impressed coaches at AC Boulogne-Billancourt this season, is expected to arrive in Abidjan next week in order to prepare with the Young Elephants ahead of the tournament which starts 29 May to 10 June.

His immediate task in the young Elephant colours will be helping the team win the tournament which is being hosted in France.

The Paris born of Ivorian descent rose from the youth set up of AC Boulogne-Billancourt to earn a professional contract with the senior side in July 2016.

The first phase of the National U-20 boy team’s pre-selection camp will begin next week in Abidjan with over 24 players expected to be in attendance.
