Former Isle of Hope Sports Academy (ISOHSA) of Limbe, defender Agbor Bessem Bogard will join Astre of Douala before the start of the new season as the Brazilians of Bepanda look to bolster their defence via his addition.
The 18-year-old ANAFOOT graduate who spent last season at PWD of Bamenda has agreed personal terms with Les Astre of Douala, informing the club to negotiate his release from the Abakwa Boys.
Bogard enjoyed a dream debut campaign in the top-flight as he marshalled the PWD backline during the best part of the season.
He is expected to follow his father at Astre and be part of the new additions in the ranks of the MTN Elite One vice champions of the 2010 season.
Astre under newly-appointed coach Agbor Ernest are in full pre-season activities, but without Bogard who awaits clearance to join his new mates in training.
The new Elite One championship season is expected to get underway by the end of this month.
