FC Ebolowa Ladies have picked up a comfortable 2-0 victory against struggling Ngadeu FFA this Wednesday in an advanced match day 15 fixture at the FECAFOOT Technical Center in Odza, Yaounde.
Genevieve Owona and Reinette Abega got the goals for coach Oudou Kpoumie’s FC Ebolowa as they recorded their eighth win though they finished the game without the second scorer who was sent off by Chebe Akwani following a violent reaction to a foul on one of her mates.
Owona made life easier for the host as she scored within five minutes of the game after receiving a well-worked ball on the edge of the area.
The early goal gave Nguiadem Annecy and mates the calm to manage possession and dominate coach Vladimir Ngadeu’s team though they wasted most of their chances of getting the second goal.
Knowing a win will take them as high as the third spot on the log, FC Ebolowa defended well and took the slim advantage to the break.
Just like in the first segment, Abega got another Ngadeu goal earlier in the second-half to make it 2-0 on the hour mark.
The midfielder’s afternoon ended eight minutes after she scored the second. Abega’s dismissal forced Ngadeu to adjust and finish the game with ten women.
The South Region outfit protected the teo-goal cushion till the end and backed all three points.
The latest three points takes FC Ebolowa up to the third spot with 27 points after 15 rounds of matches.
