The 27-year-old winger came off the bench to score and change the phase of the game to assist Besiktas to victory, despite ending up playing just 31 minutes of the Turkish Cup matchday five encounter.

He scored at the 73rd minutes, just barely three minutes after their second goal from Tosun who delivered a brace.

He has now scored in two consecutive games after scoring in their last 5-3 win game against Giresunspor on December 15, despite not being a regular starter for the Turkish club.

Besiktas now sit 8th on the league table after the Cameroonian winger save his side in this recent encounter on December 21, 2022.
