Cameroon Elite One side Union of Douala have appointed former Fovu of Baham, Intermediate Lions of Cameroon trainer Emmanuel Ndoumbe Bosso as their new coach for the rest of the 2023/24 season.

The experienced technician agreed the deal recently after negotiations with officials of the Nassara Kamakai, barely weeks after leaving Fovu of Baham.

Coach Ndoumbe replaces Jenny Njuegom who was head coach since the start of the current season.

The new trainer who previously managed Fovu of Baham, Astres of Douala, YOSA, Cotonsport amongst others had been out of work since leaving Fovu of Baham some weeks ago.

Sango as he is fondly known inherits a squad of very talented players with huge hunger for success.

He will guide the team through the rest of the current season.

Though they have dropped down the pecking order in recent years, Union remains one of the most consistent clubs in the Elite 1 championship.

Fans of the team will be hoping the arrival of the former Sable of Batie coach will be the lucky touch that makes them recapture the touch of champions.
