Cameroon International, Salomon Banga Bidjeme joins countryman, Joseph Apam in Rwanda after securing a move to first division side, Armeé Patriotique Rwandaise Football Club (APR FC)

The 27-year-old striker leaves Al Hilal of Sudan, where he spent one season and even emerge champion of Sudan with the club, having joined the club in April last year.

APR FC are current champions of the Rwanda premier league, retaining the title for the fourth consecutive time since 2020.

Banga joins the 21-time champions barely two weeks after his country man, Joseph Apam moved to the club from Apejes of Mfou.

The Rwandan premier league giant is the most successful club in the country’s football history with 40 titles won in all competitions.

The former Cotonsport of Garoua and Intermediate Lions captain adds to the couple of signings done so far by the Club, after taking a U-turn from the previous decision imposed on not signing foreign players.

So far, the club has secured the services of Taddeo Lwanga, Nigeria attacker Victor Mbaoma, Cameroon’s Joseph Apam and Banga Bidjeme.

These players will participate in the CAF champions league next season with Rwanda’s most cherished representative.
