Trabzonspor president Ertuğrul Doğan has publicly praised Cameroonian goalkeeper André Onana, highlighting the immense value the shot-stopper brings to the club environment beyond his performances on the pitch.
Speaking on Onana’s future, Doğan made it clear that the club would welcome the opportunity to continue working with the experienced goalkeeper, emphasizing that his qualities go far beyond footballing ability alone.
“Who wouldn’t want a goalkeeper like Onana?” Doğan said. “If Onana — and I’m not speaking about the financial aspect, but in terms of intelligence and mentality — wants to remain at Trabzon, we will find a way to resolve the rest.”
