The Secretary General of FECAFOOT Northwest, Ndi Tsembom Elvis Junior, has successfully defended his Master’s thesis today at the University of Bamenda, adding a major academic achievement to his growing profile as one of the region’s respected football administrators.

The thesis defense took place at the Faculty of Law and Political Science, Department of International Relations and Strategic Studies, where Elvis Junior presented his research on the topic: “Public Perspectives on Aid Mobilisation: The Influence of Media Narratives During the Israel-Gaza War.”

After an intense 1 hour and 10 minutes of academic exchanges and questioning from the jury, his work was approved with a prestigious Grade of Excellent, underscoring the quality of his research, analytical depth, and presentation.

Beyond the classroom, Ndi Elvis Junior is already a familiar figure in Cameroon football circles. As Secretary General of FECAFOOT Northwest, he has played a significant role in the coordination and administration of football activities in the region, including the organization of the North West Regional League, competition management, and key administrative decisions involving clubs and stakeholders.

Over the years, he has built a reputation as one of the most resourceful football administrators in the game, contributing to the growth and restructuring of football in the Northwest through strategic planning, league coordination, and governance support. He has also been actively involved in initiatives aimed at improving football standards in the region, including supporting referee capacity-building programs ahead of league competitions.

This latest academic accomplishment reflects Elvis Junior’s commitment to combining sports administration with intellectual growth and strategic leadership.

His success also sends a strong message on the importance of education and continuous development for sports administrators and football leaders in Cameroon.
