Cotonsport of Garoua returned to their base in Garoua on Monday to a heroic welcome, barely 24 hours after beating Fovu 2-0 to secure their Mali Cameroon Super Cup title.
Coach Jean Luc Breard’s team quickly returned to their base due to their engagement in the MTN Elite One championship. The defending champions picked up a 2-0 win against Fovu, icing what has already been a beautiful cake.
The Garoua giants were received on Monday evening by thousands of Garoua based fans at the entrance of the city as they joined them in celebrations to mark their homecoming.
