Hearts of Oak fans chased out their Serbian coach, Slavko Matic out of the training grounds following strings of unimpressive performance in the 2022/23 BetPawa Premier League.

The baton was extended to assistant, David Ocloo to lead the race of claiming the premier league title but the former Liberty Professionals head coach and Kotoko assistant has been far from reaching the goal set by the millennium champions.

Hearts of Oak have collected seven points in their last five games with two straight losses coming in their two away games against Bechem United and new boys, Tamale City.

The club’s physical trainer, Jordan Daitey was in the dug-out for suspended assistant, David Ocloo and he had this to say after 4-1 mauling at Tamale City.

“What we planned was not what we got so we go home then we fix whatever that we lost.

“The game still goes on, we don’t what may happen at the latter part of the season.

“We will keep our focus, we keep our concentration. Whatever error that we weren’t able to adapt to, we will go back home to fix those error.

“When it is not your day, it is not your day.” Jordan Daitey told StarTimes.

Hearts of Oak’s wins have come against Nsoatreman and Accra Lions with a goalless draw at Dreams in week 25.

The Phobians now sit 6th on the league table – eight points behind leaders, Aduana FC with six games to end the season.
