Kumba City FC came from a goal down to dismiss Buea United FC by 2-1 after 120 minutes of play, thanks to a last minute strike from substitute Keugoue who converted a free kick after goalkeeper Jingo Loise was shown red.

The game which took place at the Molyko Omnisport stadium this Sunday, June 25, saw resilient meme boys outsmart the ten man home boys after a hard fought battle.

Buea United took the lead at the 19th minute through Festus Kingsley Njako, who netted from the goalkeeper’s deflection after a cross.

The fortunate Buea United to came into this stage of the competition following the decision to declare Option Sports of Limbe general forfeiture, were the better side in this encounter.

Goalkeeper Jingo Loise came out swiftly to stop Kumba city attacker, Bimela Berca from getting the equalizer.

Substitute Boris Bessong Agbor who replaced injured Motia Bassey shortly before half the hour mark, was brought out by coach Agbor Emmanuel after an unsatisfactory performance.

Kumba City won it 2-1 and advanced to the semi-final for the first time in two attempts.
