Harambee star Jentrix Shikangwa was named the best female player for the 2022/2023 Serengeti Women’s league at the TFF Awards on Monday evening.
Jentrix , who trades for Tanzania giants Simba Queens was top notch after finishing the campaign with 17 goals in 16 appearances taking home the golden shoe award.
Besides that ,the Kenya international was also included in the team of the season on the night.
Impressive in her debut season ,the profilic forward did all it takes to fill the void that was left by team-mate Opa Clement who secured a move to Turkey.
She scored the solo goal on final day in their narrow victory against Ceasiaa only to loose the trophy to JKT by a difference of one point.
Jentrix’s future has been uncertain in recent months with links to South Africa heavyweights Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies according to reliable resources.
A player with vast experience having featured for Vihiga at the inaugural CAF Women’s Champions league finals in Egypt.
