Cameroon International goalkeeper, Simon Medjo Loti Omosola who just recently joined Congolese division one side, Saint Eloi Lupopo FC, will not be eligible to play the CAF Confederation Cup competition with new club given that he already engaged in the interclub competition this season with AS Vita.
This is as a result of the regulations of the confederation of African football which prohibits a player from representing with two clubs in a CAF interclub competition the same season.
The 24-year-old, played the CAF champions league preliminaries with AS Vita club this season before moving to the six time national champions on a two-year deal is ineligible for the group stage of the competition.
The 2021 AFCON bronze medalist, had been with the Congolese giants, AS Vita since 2020, a club which known for having won several national and international titles and unarguably one of the most successful in the country with 15 league and 8 cup titles.
The young keeper expected to be the first choice for new club is limited to playing only National competitions without being involved in any CAF game for Lupopo this season.
