Bamboutos of Mbouda attacker, Eugene Patrice Ejenguele is no more.
The attacker who won the 2022 Trophee des champions for the Mangwa Boys with his lone goal against Coton Sports of Garoua died early Friday November 24, 2023, in a health facility in Douala, Cameroon’s economic capital, according to Griffe 2 Foot.
Patrice Ejenguele was rushed to the Laquintini hospital in Douala on August 13, 2023, after suffering from double fracture vetebrae in a road accident.
Since then, he has been battling with his life at the hospital until this Friday morning when he was declared death.
Patrice Ejenguele will be remembered in Mbouda and in the Cameroon football landscape for his goal against Coton Sports in the 2022 Trophee des champions that gave Bamboutos of Mbouda their first ever trophy.
Patrice Ejenguele and two other players had a car accident while returning from an inter-quarter football match on Sunday August 13, 2023.
