Though wasteful Dynamo of Douala have picked up their first defeat of the season as Leopard records a first win following their 2-1 win against City rivals Dynamo of Douala this Monday at the Bonamoussadi Stadium.

Mattias Sevin Malep was the top performer of the day as he made Emmanuel Kayode on goal for Leopard to work, and scored in the three goals thriller.

Leopard were the better side in the beginning and had the reward of their efforts 22 minutes into it when Samuel Moumie beat Cyrille Ndjeng on goal for Dynamo.

Dynamo took control of the game after conceding and had the best opportunities of the half but poor finishing was their undoing.

Fabrice Balogog Loe had the best chance to level from the spot just before the break after Emmanuel Kayode brought down Malep in the box. Unfortunately for the former New Stars of Douala midfielder he shot went wide in what was the final kick of he first-half.

The first chance of the second half fell on the forehead of Malep but his efforts on target hit the woodwork.

Three minutes later, Mattias Sevin Malep leveled with a wonderful half volley from a right sided cross.

The goal didn’t dampen the efforts of Jacques Bayem and co as they rallied to restore the lead through Salomon Nsoh Asaah who completed a well worked move initiated by Ndame Ndame.

Leopard reinforced in defense and midfield by bringing on Franky Essombo to make it three center-backs and Aloukodi Osee.

The game ended on a 2-1 score thus amounting to Leopards first win in the championship this season.
