Revival as Ex-Iwuanyanwu Nat’l resumes weekly training

The association of Ex-Iwuanyanwu Nationale world wide has officially resumed their weekly training, kick442.com has learned from the Statesman Newspaper’s sports desk.

The Weekly training has been pegged to hold every Saturday to enable its members bond, maintain a certain level of fitness and improved health conditions.

According to the president of the association Mr Isaac Mbika , the group has reactivated their weekly training to ensure wellness, fitness and bonding amongst it’s members and the association wants to use the opportunity to attract sponsors who will rehabilitate the old stadium, the current venue of their weekly training.

“Our weekly training has begun in earnest and it is meant to ensure the group’s bonding avenue, wellness and fitness of it’s members.

Now that we have resumed our weekly training, We want to also use the opportunity to attract investors to the old stadium as well taking cognizance of the fact that most of us played there long time ago as young stars.

We have the capacity and contact to make changes concerning the situation of the stadium.

We will attract investors, who will renovate this stadium and at least add artificial turf to it.

Renovating this stadium is in line with the association’s grassroots sports development program which centers mainly on catching them young.

Ex-Iwuanyanwu Nationale has alot of programs line up this year and this is one of them. We are just getting started.

We want to eradicate crime in the society through sports.

We also have plans to have an audience with the Governor of Imo state, His Excellency distinguished senator Hope Uzodimma and also pay a courtesy call to our father, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu (Aha eji aga mba ).

Ex iwuanyawu intends on doing a lot of positive things this year for Imo state.” Mbika concluded.

The association are therefore beckoning on all it’s members to join in the weekly training every Saturday.

Meanwhile Training will continue on Saturday at the old stadium Tetlow road Owerri by 7AM.
