The draw for the 2023/2024 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership took place during the Annual General Assembly (AGA) of the league on Thursday with Group B being the toughest.
Debutant, Remo Stars Ladies have been drawn in a tough Group B alongside the past three winners of the league, Rivers Angels, Bayelsa Queens, and Delta Queens.
The group also houses another returning team, Sunshine Queens and Ekiti Queens which will be making their maiden appearance in the top flight.
FC Robo Queens and Edo Queens complete Group B pairing.
Group A houses Nasarawa Amazons, Heartland Queens, Confluence Queens, Adamawa Queens, Dannaz Ladies, Naija Ratels, Royal Queens, and Abia Angels.
The top three teams from each group at the end of the season will play in the Super Six Playoffs to determine the league winners.
The league is slated to Kik off in November 2023.
