PWD part ways with Nke Dieudonne

PWD Social Football Club of Bamenda have part ways with coach Dieudonne Nke.

According to Sports journalist Afeseh Apong, the decision comes after the club’s recent poor results against Union of Douala and Aigle of Menoua where the Abakwa Boys lost by a goal to nil. Results which have put their playoff chances in jeopardy.

According to reports, Coach Nke Dieudonne said goodbye to the players and the rest of the staff during the teams training session this Friday February 23 at the Bamenda municipal stadium.

According to a club statement, it is clear the Abakwa Boys will travel to Douala this weekend without Coach Nke Dieudonne.

Club Statement

Appointed on September 29, 2023 to replace Bep Constantine, coach Nke who was coach of Canon of Yaounde when they won the top flight championship in 2002 is a free agent and seeking new opportunities while PWD looks for a manager.

Dieudonné Nke while at the helm of PWD Social Football Club Bamenda played 16 matches, with 5 wins, 5 draws and 6 defeats. During that period, his team scored 13 goals and conceded 16.
