Ahead of Sunday’s kick-off date for the 2023 CAF Women’s Champions League, the official poster of the tournament was revealed on Thursday.
The poster had the CAF Champions League trophy with the date of the competition.
The venue of the tournament was also embedded in the poster with the logo of the eight participating teams.
The third edition of the CA Women’s Champions League will be held from November 5 to 19, 2023, in Ivory Coast.
The cities of Khorogo and San Pedro will play host to the competition.
Group A matches will be held at the Stade Amadou Gon Coulibaly, Khorogo, and Stade Laurent Pokou, San Pedro will host Group B matches.
Host, Athletico FC (Ivory Coast), Sporting Club Casablanca (Morocco), JKT Queens (Tanzania), and Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies (South Africa) are in Group A.
Group B comprises ASFAR FC (Morocco), Ampem Darkoa (Ghana), Huracanes (Equatorial Guinea), and (AS Mande Mali).
Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies (2021) and ASFAR FC (2022) won the first two editions of the tournament in Egypt and Morocco respectively.
