The Communications department of the Cameroon football federation (FECAFOOT) has announced July 15-30 as the period for the 2023 National play-offs for promotion to Elite 2.
The National Interpools as the competition is popularly known is slated for Yaounde as announced by the release signed by the FECAFOOT Secretary General, Blaise Djounang.
The annual soccer event gathers the ten regional champions and will be played in two pools of five clubs each.
The best two clubs from the competition will advance to the Elite 2 championship for the 2023/24 season.
Last year Victoria United FC and Aigle Royal of Moungo graduated from the national playoffs to the Elite 2 championship.
The event always marks the end of the amateur football season in competition.
