North West Mini Interpools: Ahudu Lukong’s second half goal takes Bafmeng United to the Interpools

Bafmeng United are champions of the North West Regional Football League for the first time.

Before thousand of fans and North West Governor Adolph Lele Afrique, the boys of coach Soh Simplis defeated Bang Bullet FC of Nkambe 2#1 to pick up the lone ticket to represent the North West region at the National Interpools in Yaounde.

Bang Bullet FC opened scores in the first quarter of the match through Julian Pius who scored his 4th goal of the season.

Bang Bullet FC dominated and created chances to double their lead but they failed to concretize their chances.

At the stroke of half time, Ahudu Lukong delivered a decisive pass to Briand Atanga who scored to level scores at half time.

Coach Njomou Dominique of Bang Bullet FC was forced to conduct two substitutions at half time due to injuries. Goalkeeper Gabriel Rene and left back Asanji Emmanuel were substituted.

Both teams continued to go in search of the winner.

Coach Soh Simplis of Bafmeng United brought in Genesis Shu twenty minutes to the end of the match and his first touch of thee ball was an assist to Ahudu Lukong who scored what became the winner of the match.

All attempts from Bang Bullet to equalize and take the match to penalty shootouts were futile.
