  •  Ndoumbe Bosso could join Elecsport of Limbe as replacement for Njoku Barnabas

Ndoumbe Bosso could end up at ambitious Southwest Regional League side Elecsport of Limbe despite early reports linking him to Dynamo of Douala.

kick442.com has information in good authority that the Limbe-based outfit has made a huge offer to the experience trainer as part of efforts to sign him in replacement of Njorku Barnabas.

We understand the club’s president has held talks with the former Canon Yaoundé and Cotonsport coach who has asked for time to prepare himself for the challenge.

This fresh twist throws a spanner in the works president Alphonse Bea of Dynamo as he was hoping to secure the services of the former Fovu of Baham and Sable of Batie trainer for the coming season.

Revamped Elecsport endured a disappointing 2024 season, losing to eventual finalist Best Stars Academy of Limbe in the quarter-final of the championship.

Elecsport of Limbe was a giant of Cameroon football in the late 90s and early 2000s returned to the Southwest Regional championship last season but went off the radar for close to 20 years before it’s reawakening two years ago.

Last season, Elecsport finished atop their group, competing against household names like Continental FA, Fako United FC.
However, their mini interpools performance fell short of expectations.

If a deal is reached, Ndoumbe Bosso will bring a wealth of experience to the squad. In the past year, he guided Fovu to victory in the Cameroon Cup, helped Union avoid relegation, and steered them to the 32nd finals of the same competition.

His coaching journey includes serving as an assistant coach for the intermediate lions and working with top clubs such as Cotonsport, Yong Sports Academy, Fauve Azur, and Bamboutos of Mbouda. These credentials positions him well to assist ambitious Elecsport in their quest for league success.

Looking ahead, Ndoumbe Bosso will focus on recruitment for the upcoming season. While Elecsport, like many clubs across the country, has yet to commence preparations, last season’s performance suggests they are quietly laying the groundwork.

As for the official season start date, the Cameroon Football Federation remains silent. Only after the Cup of Cameroon finals between Colombe Sportif and Aigle of the Menoua will the football season draw to a close, paving the way for new beginnings.
