NPFL: Gunmen attack Sunshine Stars

The latest news coming from Nigeria has it that top-flight Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side, Sunshine Stars has been attacked by gunmen and hoodlums.

The team was attacked around the Ore axis in Ondo state on their way to Benin City.

The Ball boy accompanying the team as well as the Team Manager were reportedly hit by a gunshot.

Both personalities were reportedly injured as a result of the gunshot.

The team recorded a 1-0 win over Shooting Stars in Akure on Wednesday.

They were expected to face Bendel Insurance of Benin City on Sunday in their next league encounter.

Currently in the 11th position on the log with 16 points after 12 games, we await the decision from the league board on their next game due to this new development.
