Day 5 matches of the North West Regional Football League have rendered their verdicts after the last matches were played Thursday June 16, 2023.
In Pool A, defending champions Hilltop Strikers of Bamendakwe remains undefeated in the league after their three nil victory against Santos FC. Ngufor Terence scored a brace while Kimbi Roderick scored another to grab the comfortable win for Hilltop.
Meanwhile, Tubah United continued their impressive first campaign in the championship with a 1#4 win over Donga United. Akum Ruben scored a hat trick for Tubah United.
In Pool B, Nso United returned to winning ways with a 2#1 victory over Grace of Hope Bafut. Former Foncha Street FC players Ibrahim Nsoyuri and Nsameli Muna scored the goals for Nso United.
In the other Pool B fixture, Bang Bullet and Bafmeng United played a zero all tie.
In Pool C, Rainbow FC of Bamenda remains undefeated after their three nil victory over Kilum Mountain Rangers. Tayem Junior scored all three goals for Rainbow FC.
SIMAF FA Mbengwi also remained undefeated with their 1#0 win against Abakwa Boys.
Meanwhile, Ngoketunjia United and Family Warriors shared the spoils in a one all tie.
In Pool D, just one match was played.
Dream Team recorded their 5th consecutive defeat of the season as they were beaten 4#0 by Rush FM FC
Sopocam Rush and Vision Athletics failed to present licenses against Kumbo Strikers and Rockland FC Belo respectively. Rockland FC Belo remains undefeated in the group
Day 6 matches have been programmed for Saturday June 17 and Sunday June 18, 2023.
