Nlend Ayme signs a two-year contract at ISOHSA

Nlend Ayme has signed a new two-year contract extension at Isle of Hope Sports Academy in a deal set to keep him at the club until the summer of 2025.

The deal had been be structured as an initial one-year deal, with both club and manager holding an option for a further season. That means either party could choose to end it sooner if they wanted. The structure is the same as the contract he signed in November 2022.

His existing deal ran until the end of last season, but both parties renewed confidence in each other following a successful 2023 campaign in many aspects. Nlend’s time at ISOHSA is one laden with success.

Coach, 50, arrived at ISOHSA in the build up to last season with an established reputation with a huge reputation as a coach having overseen glittering periods of success at different clubs. Walking through the doors after spells in charge of NQSA, Little FC, LIFCA and Tiko United FC in addition to being deputy Pool head for the Southwest arm of the Cameroon national football academy gave him the desired experience to hit the ground running.

He has since won the Southwest Regional League, the national interpools and reached the 16 finals of the Cup of Cameroon among others.

His ISOHSA team also played one of the most attractive football in the interpools and the regional playoffs going on a ten games unbeaten run as he picked up

The entire success of the club has been built on unity and togetherness created by the management. Coach Nlend and his entire backroom team feel empowered – he surrounds himself with expert assistants who accompany him – and a management that ensures every single member of his team are given the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Coach Nlend and ISOHSA feel inextricably linked, with president Karl Njomo’s exacting standards the driving force behind their glittering period of success. The marriage between the management and coach Nlend will now continue for two more years with the world on their feet.
