Cameroon International, Clinton Njie Mua is unstoppable after scoring his sixth goal in a pre-season friendly encounter against Kayserispor on Friday, August 4.

The game which ended in a two all draw, saw Clinton score the second for Sivasspor at 73’ to mark his sixth goal scored in the sixth consecutive preseason match played.

He began his goal scoring prowess this preseason against Səbail in which he scored the lone goal in a 1-1 draw game on July 19 and equally scored the lone goal in the next 1-0 win game Sumqayıt three days later.

The 29-year-old opened scores in a 2-0 win against Ümraniye on July 26 and the winning goal against Antayalspor last Saturday(2-0 win).

With the sixth consecutive goal recorded, the former Olympique of Marseille striker sends a strong message to head coach of the Cameroon National team, Rigobert Song Bahanag, who hasn’t being convinced with his performance since he took over from Antonio Conceicao.

Njie Clinton last features in the Indomitable Lions squad during the 2021 African Cup of Nations(AFCON) on home soil, where he missed a crucial penalty that contributed to Cameroon losing te semi final clash to Egypt.

However, he was part of the squad that grabbed the bronze medal at the competition but did not succeed to earn his place back in the Lions den following an under performant season at former club before securing a move to the Turkish Super Lig side where he still had not put up a convincing performance until now.
