Exciting Cameroonian goalkeeper Ngole Chelsea could make her debut for Authentic Ladies of Douala this Saturday in the opening game of the 2023/24 Guinness Super League championship.

Ngole enjoyed a brilliant first season on the books of Awa Filles, winning the Woman of the Guinnessico as she registered the highest number of saves to keep the former League winners out of the troubled waters of relegation.

The 16-year-old Cameroon international acquired from rivals Awa Filles during the close season transfer is expected to provide competition for Lilian Choumba and other members of the goalkeeping department when the season gets underway this Saturday.

Ngole represents one of the best businesses for president Bullock John’s team this window. The switch ensures a reunion with coach Hassan Ibrahim who handed her the first opportunity in the competition and made her first choice at Awa.

The talented goalkeeper has gone on to represent Cameroon at U-17, U-20 and had camps with the senior national team in an unbelievable rise to the top in under 12 months.

The netminder is currently in camp with the senior national team as one of the girls selected by coach Jean Baptiste Bisseck to prepare for the 2024 Olympics games FIFA qualifier tie against the She Cranes of Uganda later this month.

Ngole and club captain Tim Shalom Nakoma Ngam are expected to be granted permission to travel to Douala for the season opener.
