Ngah Ronald Wanja scored the lone goal to help Al Khor return to winning ways after they beat Lusail FC 1-0 on match day 12 of the Qatar second division on Monday, April 16.

Promotion chasing Al Khor was on a run of three games without a win going into the encounter but did enough to end the mini crisis.

Though on the road, Al Khor dominated the first-half of the encounter but were made to be patient for their reward.

Ngah returning from an injury found the back of the net just four minutes into the second segment after both sides finished the first 45 minutes on a virgin score.

The early lead after the interval was preserved by a resolute Al Khor team till the end.

The 1-0 score in the end means Al Khor returns to the top of the log with 25 points like Muathier who are on their heels but an inferior goal difference.

Ngah joined the club earlier this year, on a mission to inspire promotion to the top-flight.

The ex-Cotonsport goal poacher has scored four goals since arrival in Qatar. His form will be their catalyst in their mission to achieve promotion.
