The Brave warriors of Namibia will play against the indomitable lions of Cameroon this Friday, March 24, 2023, at the Ahmadou Ahidjo stadium in Yaounde, Cameroon.

When both teams descend onto the green turf, one player to watch out for in the Namibian team is their captain, Peter Shalulile.

The current Mamelodi Sundowns player is captain of the brave warriors.

The 29-year-old has played 17 matches in the South African PSL scoring 11 goals and providing 3 assists.

With the Namibian national team, Peter Shalulile has scored 6 goals for the senior national team.

He was a member of the Namibian under-19 squad that won the Metropolitan Under-19 Premier Cup in South Africa in 2011.

Peter Shalulile is one of the players Rigobert Song’s Lions must be worried about. He is the most decorated Namibian player present in their squad having won collective and individual titles in his career.

In 2021, he won the PSL footballer of the season award. Peter finished as PSL’s Top goalscorer for 2020/2021

He won the Premier Soccer League in 2020/2021 and the 2021/2022 seasons, the and Nedbank Cup in 2022.

Peter Shalulile’s main position is the central striker role. However, he can also play as a left or right winger.

In the current CAF Champions League competition, Peter Shalulile has scored three goals in four appearances.

Born on October 23, 1993, the Namibian Is a product of Tura Magic FC in Namibia, a club he joined when they were campaigning in the NFA Khomas second division and helped gain promotion in the 2011/2012 season.

He made his way up from the U-20 to the Senior Namibia National Soccer Team and scored crucial goals en route to their first-ever trophy which was the COSAFA Cup in 2015.
