EFBC gets tough 2023 Easter Cup pairing

Authorities of the Brasseries Football Training Academy on Wednesday, March 22,2023 in the nation’s economic capital Douala at her Ndokoti headquarters, unveiled the draw for the eighth edition of the Easter Cup Patricia Berthelot.

The draw consist of eight youth clubs divided into two pools A and B. With pool A made-up of Best Stars of Limbe,Bamboutos FC of Mbouda and Leopard of Bertoua.

Pool B is composed of Boums, PWD of Bamenda, Colombe of Dja et Lobo and Coton Sport.

B1 Boums FC Yaounde
B2 PWD Bamenda
B3 Colombe of Dja
B4 Cotonsport of Garoua

The Under-18 youth soccer showpiece is slated for April 11 to 15,2023 in Douala.

It is worthy of note that, the Brasseries Football Training Academy were champions of the seventh edition, after trashing Boums Academy on a 4-1 score in the finals.It is the fourth time for the Douala-based lead football academy, to win the trophy in the seventh edition.

At the end of the 2022 edition of the Easter Cup, EFBC’s left winger Dalbai Aboubakar was voted best player. Tetteh Evans from Best Stars emerged Best keeper. While, Mpeck Ulrich of Leopard Bertoua finish top goalscorer with five goals.
