Bamboutos FC of Mbouda have picked up a 3-2 win against fellow relegation-threatened side, UMS of Loum this Sunday evening at the Olembe Omnisport stadium courtesy a second club hat-trick for Kache Boris Fon.

The former Rangers of Bafut and Little Foot FC forward showed why he has been the most productive Bamboutos FC player this campaign, scoring a hat-trick to ensure he quenched any iota of hope for a point from the 2018 championship.

Kache got Bamboutos FC off to a dream start with a 14th minute goal, deserving of their efforts in the early stages.

The goal took the stink off the Bamboutos early energy and UMS immediately took the initiative.

Coach Souleymanou Aboubakar’s UMS leveled midway into the half through Godlove Lafon and turned the game on its head when Didier Ekedi Ngando scored the second to make it 2-1 just before the interval.

UMS that had failed to win in their previous two outings and were hoping to be third time lucky, but it wasn’t to be.

Kache secured parity even before all UMS players could settle into the second-half and won it at the death from the penalty spot. Securing a first win for the Mangwa Boys.

UMS finished the game on the front foot, seeking the equalizer which never happened thanks to the defensive vigilance of the 2021 vice champions in the closing stages of the content.

The result sanctions the first win and an important result for coach Agbor Ernest who joined Bamboutos FC before the final two games of the regular season.

Kache counts 13 goals after the latest exploit and he is back in the golden boot race which the lead score.

Bamboutos FC will face in-form Astres of Douala in their next game while UMS grind ashes with Fortuna.
