Micho appointed coach of Libya

Libyan Football Federation ( LFF ) have confirmed the appointment of Micho Sredojevic as new head coach of the senior men’s National team.

This comes one month after end of pact with Uganda football federation.

 

Micho replaces Abdel-Hamid Bataw, who has been sacked following the disastrous 2023 AFCON qualifiers.

Faced with catastrophe of conflicts and wars in past years , the Mediterranean knights haven’t made it to AFCON finals since 2012.

Micho, the new man in charge is no stranger to international football , has extensive experience in African football for more than twenty years is expected to stir his team.

World Cup Qualifiers are the next in line for the former Amavubi stars trainer and his Libyan side.

The 126th ranked country on universe, is pooled in group D alongside Cape Verde, Eswatini, Mauritius and Cameroon.
