Marou Suaibou debuts with Orlando Pirates.

Cameroons ballon d’or Marou Souaibou has finally made his debut with his new club Orlando pirates .

The striker was substitute for Saleng at the 81st minute on Friday, in Pirates 2:1 win over Maritzburg United in the South African Premier Division.

The 22-year-old who joined this Soweto giants in January had not been given playing time due to language difference.

After the sea robbers Nedbank Cup Round of 32 game at Wits Football Stadium , assistant coach Mandla Ncikazi had explained the talismans language was different from theirs and so needed time to adapt.

“The language is different from us and has become an adaptation that we need to overcome,” the Pirates assistant mentor told the media.

“However, he is doing well and you can see he is a top player. He just has to adapt to how we play.

“I’m hoping the adaptation will happen soon.” Mandla Mcikazi.

An adaptation process that seems to be going on smoothly as the former coton sport player had 12 minutes of play at the Orlando Pirates stadium on Friday.

Unfortunately for him, his team conceded one goal 4 minutes after his entrance , thankfully M. Saleng and T. Dzvukamanja had given pirates a two goal lead before that.

Orlando pirates now place 3rd on the DSTV premiership table with 31 points
