JUST in: Uandan Kiplimo wins gold in Bathurst

Jacob Kiplimo once again raised the country’s flag after winning the men’s World title at the World Cross country championship in Bathurst , Australia on Saturday morning.

The commonwealth double champion beat Ethiopia’s Berihu Aregawi and fellow countryman Joshua Cheptegei to finish first on the podium in a record of (29:17).

It’s gold and bronze for Team Uganda as Cheptegei finished third in the podium.

Kiplimo ,now holds both the cross country and Half-maranthom World titles.
