A goal from the spot against Colombe sportive du Dja and lobo on Sunday puts Jules Armand Kooh at five goals in five league games.
The Astres forward has been phenomenal this season scoring from all ends to see his side stay afloat on the league table.
Kooh has been a consistent threat to the opposition defenses, scoring in all but one league match so far. He opened his account with a goal against Aigle de la Menoua in the first match day, followed by a brace against Dynamo de Douala on the second.
He was denied by AS Fortuna in the third match, but bounced back with a stunning goal and a penalty against Canon sportive and Colombe sportive du Dja and lobo in the day Four and five of the championships.
His goal against Les Bon ba Djob of Dynamo also served as the fastest one scored in the championship as of now, as Kooh found the net in just one minute after the kick-off. He showed his pace and composure to beat the offside trap and slot the ball past the goalkeeper.
Armand has always been vocal about helping his side win. Against Canon, he expressed satisfaction to have been on the score sheet, stating his objective set at the start of the season was to push the side to the highest height possible, with the support of his teammates.
Coach Agbor Ernest praised the striker for his skills and tactics, and agrees to any circumstances that would allow him to increase his goal tally.
Beneath Jules are a host of strikers on three goals. Union sportive’s Hamit Seini, Victoria United’s Richmond Nji, Bamboutos de Mbouda’s Sampson Kwasi Awuah and Leonel Ateba of Dynamo of Douala.
