Indomitable Lions of Cameroon defender/ midfielder Jean Emile Onana Junior has been included in the French Ligue 1 best XI of match day 36, following his huge contribution in the heart of the Racing Lens defence last weekend.

Lens in their UEFA Champions League qualification push beat Lorient on the road by 3-1.

Onana stood tall in the makeshift central defender rule as RC Lens put off the Lorient frontline.

The 23-year-old Cameroon international and his club captain Seko Fofana are the two Lens players to make it to this round of matches.

Lens are enjoying a great season and currently occupy the second spot in the French Ligue 1 standings, six points away from leaders PSG.

Onana has featured in 20 French Ligue 1 games this season. He is still running after his first goal for the club he joined from relegated Girondin of Bordeaux in the build up to this season.
